After nearly 20 years on parallel career paths, Tom and Patrick finally worked together formally. It was not long before they discovered a mutual obsession with making things better. This includes courses they took, like Lean Six Sigma. Their core research includes more than 32 technical and scientific sources that ultimately became Pathom’s Value Discovery Methodology (VDM). Their approach over the last decade has been the same “what is the best part of this?”. Patrick and Tom say VDM is the best parts of the most valuable things they learned in their careers. “VDM is designed to efficiently get low cost, low risk solutions that max the value” said Patrick. Tom replied “… and we think everyone should have a VDM experience before investing in traditional consulting projects”. Both are passionate about learning new things, and are usually experimenting with something new that might make the next iteration of VDM.
